Cylinder Head, Removing And Installing: Removing

During Installation, All Cable Ties Must Be Installed At The Same Location.
Close The Open Channels From The Intake And Exhaust Tract With Suitable Plugs For Example From The :VAS6122 .

Preliminary Work May Be Required Depending On The Model. Refer To CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Coolant Hose Version 1:

-- Open the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the coolant hoses.

Coolant Hose Version 2:

-- Open the clamps -arrows- and remove the rear coolant hoses.

Coolant Hose Version 3:

-- Lift the clips -arrows-, loosen the clamp -2- and remove the rear coolant hoses.

NOTE:

Depending On The Engine Installed, There Are Different Installation Positions.

-- Disconnect The Fuel Line -2-. Refer To CONNECTOR COUPLINGS .

-- Loosen the clamp -1- and disconnect the hose from the EVAP canister.

NOTE:

Lay A Cloth Below The Coolant Pipe To Catch Escaping Coolant.

Depending On The Engine Installed, There Are Different Installation Positions.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and move the front coolant pipe upward.

-- Loosen the clamp -arrow left- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Remove the nut -1- and bolt -2- and remove the support for the intake manifold.

-- Remove The Bolts -3-. (Only One Bolt Depending On The Version)

-- Remove The Banjo Bolts -1 And 2- And Move The Line To The Side.

-- Disconnect The Connectors -1 And 2- On The Oil Pressure Switch -F22- And Reduced Oil Pressure Switch -F378-.

-- Loosen The Hose Clamp -Arrow-, Remove The Air Duct Hose And Pivot It To The Side.

-- Disconnect The Connector From The Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- -arrow- And Free Up The Wire.

-- Remove the cylinder head bolts using the :T10070 or :T40270 in the sequence -1 through 10-.

Make Sure All Wires And Cables Are Disconnected.
Pay Attention To The Tension And Glide Tracks When Lifting The Cylinder Head.

-- Remove The Cylinder Head.

-- Lay The Cylinder Head On A Soft Surface, Such As Foam.

-- Seal The Open Channels Of The Intake And Exhaust Tract With A Clean Cloth Or With Completely Clean Plugs From The :VAS6122 .
