Oil Spray Jets, Removing And Installing: Removing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Torx Bit - T40 :T10545 
• Wrench - 21mm :T40263 
• Adapter :T40314 

Cylinder "1 to 3" : 

• Transmission removed. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .

-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Turn the crankshaft with the : T40263  , :T40314  and the 24 mm socket in direction of -arrow- until the corresponding bolt is accessible.

Removing Cylinder "4" : 

• The engine is removed and secured to the engine/transmission holder. Refer to ENGINE, SECURING TO ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

-- Remove the oil pan upper section. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the balance shaft timing chain. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connecting rod bearing cap.

-- Remove the crankshaft bearing cap.

-- Remove the crankshaft.

-- Remove the pressure relief valve -1- using the :T10545  .

-- Remove the oil spray jet -2-.
