Tail Pipes, Replacing, Vehicles With A Rear Muffler: Notes

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

• Chain Pipe Cutter:VAS6254 

• There is a separating point on each tailpipe if the tailpipe needs to be removed.
• The separating point is marked by an indentation around the circumference of the exhaust pipe.

-- Disconnect the exhaust pipe at the separating point -arrows- at a right angle using the :VAS6254  .

-- Mount the tailpipes.

-- Check the distance of the tail pipes to the bumper:

• Dimension -x- left = dimension -x- right.

-- Tighten The Threaded Connections On The Clamping Sleeves.
