Brake Rotor, Replacing, 1LA, 1LB, 1LJ And 1LD 1ZT + S4 /S5: Removing

-- Raise The Vehicle.

-- Remove the wheels.

-- Remove the front brake pads. Refer to BRAKE PADS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, 1LA, 1LB, 1LJ AND 1LD 1ZT + S4 /S5 .

Do not let the brake caliper hang from the brake hose. Secure it to the body with suitable cable ties or wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.

-- Remove the bolts -3- on the front brake carrier.

-- Remove the front brake carrier.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- on the brake rotor while holding the brake rotor firmly.
