Seat Heating Element, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Align the new heating element on the padding.
CAUTION:
- Make sure the new seat heating element is affixed to the old heating element.
- Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
- When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.
-- Begin bonding the center are of the seat heating element -arrow C-.
-- Then bond the front area -arrow A-.
-- Route the connecting wires from the front to the rear heating surface in the base of the gaps -arrows B-.
-- Bond the rear area of the heating surface -arrow D-.
-- Pull the wire -3- through the slit in the padding -arrow E-.
Install in reverse order of removal.
