Exhaust System, Installing

Procedure 

• Align exhaust system when cold.
• Tightening specifications, refer to PARTICULATE FILTER AND NOx ABSORPTION CATALYTIC CONVERTER ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

-- Loosen the threaded connections on the front clamping sleeve.

-- Push the exhaust system forward until the tension on the retaining straps for the rear muffler -a- = 15 to 17 mm.

-- Install clamping sleeve so that bolt ends do not project beyond lower edge of clamping sleeve -arrow-.

• The threaded connection faces the right.
