Selector Lever Scale Illumination

Removing

Proceed as follows:

-- Engage parking brake.

-- Place selector lever in position N.

-- Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

-- Carefully pry selector lever boot out of boot trim using a small screwdriver -arrow 1-.

-- Pull selector lever boot upwards at both sides -arrows 2 and 3-.

-- Fold selector lever boot up.

-- Pry center console trim out of console using Trim Removal Wedge3409 -arrows-.

-- Disconnect electrical connectors and remove center console trim.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and remove selector lever boot trim -1- with selector lever scale illumination -L101-.

Installing

Tightening specification, refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE AND SCALE ILLUMINATION ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW .

Installation is in reverse order of removal.
