Anti-theft Immobilizer

Immobilizer control is integrated in Access/Start Control Module J518. Component location: Integrated in steering column, removing and installing → 48 - Steering Removal And Installation .

The following components are also part of the immobilizer:

• Vehicle key with integrated transponder.
• Induction coil in Access/Start Authorization Switch E415 (electronic ignition lock).
• Engine Control Module (ECM).
• Transmission Control Module (TCM).

If control module is replaced, select "Guided Functions" of respective control module in.
