Left Timing Chain Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the upper left coolant pipe. Refer to UPPER LEFT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear coolant pipe. Refer to REAR COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the vacuum hose -2- (if equipped) from the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve.

-- Remove the AIR hose -3- by pressing the release buttons.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and remove the secondary air injection combination valve.

-- Loosen and remove the bolts in the following sequence: -8 through 1- and then remove the bracket -arrow A- for the heated oxygen sensor connectors.

-- Push the wiring harness bracket -arrow B- to the side and carefully remove the left timing chain guard.
