Lock Cylinder, Removing And Installing, Rear Seat Backrest Locking Mechanism: Removing
-- Remove the trim for the retainer with lock cylinder. Refer To LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LOCKING MECHANISM WITH LOCK CYLINDER .
-- Make sure the indicator is in the >>top<< position.
CAUTION:
Only Remove And Install The Lock Cylinder With The Key Inserted Correctly. If That Is Not Done, The Tumblers And Compression Springs Can Fall Out And The Lock Cylinder Will Be Ruined.
-- Release the retaining tabs -bottom arrows- (quantity: 4) and press the lock cylinder -3- with the key -2- out of the trim -1-.
