Steering Column Electronics Control Module -J527-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following: 

-- Make sure all retaining hooks and connectors are engaged securely.

-- Install the steering column trim panel, refer to UPPER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the steering wheel, refer to AIRBAG STEERING WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the driver airbag, refer to OVERVIEW - DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG .

-- After replacing the return spring with slip ring, it must be adapted to the steering angle sensor using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
