Left/Right Hid Headlamp Control Module -J343- /J344, Removing And Installing, Through My 2012: Removing

WARNING:

Danger To Life Due To High Voltage.

  • When working on the components marked with yellow high-voltage symbols the HID headlamp must be de-energized.
  • Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
  • Do not touch the flasher.

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Do not touch the flasher.

-- On the right: remove the air filter housing, refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the control module -4- from headlamp housing.

-- Disconnect the adapter wire -3- and connector -1- on the HID headlamp control module.

-- Remove the HID headlamp control module.
