Connection Diagram - Coolant Hoses

NOTE:

Blue = large coolant circuit.

Red = small coolant circuit.

Orange = coolant circuit for the charge air cooler.

Brown = heating circuit.

The arrows show the coolant flow direction.

Vehicles without Auxiliary Heater

  1. Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  2. Radiator
    • with ATF cooler
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  3. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
  4. Coolant Thermostat
  5. Coolant Pump
  6. Right Charge Air Cooler
    • Inside the compressor housing
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  7. Bleed Screw
  8. Cylinder Head
    • Cylinder bank 1 (right)
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  9. Bleed Screw
  10. Heater Core for Heater
  11. Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50-
  12. Engine Temperature Control Sensor -G694-
  13. Cylinder Head
    • Cylinder bank 2 (left)
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  14. Bleed Screw
  15. Left Charge Air Cooler
    • Inside the compressor housing
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  16. Cap
  17. Coolant Expansion Tank
  18. Engine Oil Cooler
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  19. Check Valve

  1. Front Charge Air Cooling Circuit Radiator
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  2. Radiator
    • With ATF cooler
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  3. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
  4. Coolant Thermostat
  5. Parking Heater
  6. Coolant Pump
  7. Right Charge Air Cooler
    • Inside the compressor housing
    • Change the coolant after replacing
  8. Bleed Screw

    • Change the coolant after replacing
