Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

• Dial Indicator Holder :VW387 
• Dial Gauge - 0-10mm :VAS6079

-- Insert the valve into guide. The valve stem end must be flush with the guide. Due to differences in valve stem diameter, only use intake valves in intake valve guides, and exhaust valves in exhaust valve guides.

-- Determine the tilting clearance.

Wear Limit 

• If the wear limit is exceeded, measure again using new valves. If the wear limit is still exceeded, replace the cylinder head.
• If the valve is to be replaced as part of a repair, use a new valve for the measurement.
