Drive Axle, Removing And Installing: Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

Drive Axle Tightening Specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - DRIVE AXLE WITH OUTER CV JOINT WITH 88 MM DIAMETER AND INNER CV JOINT WITH 100 MM DIAMETER .

Drive Axle Tightening Specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - DRIVE AXLE WITH OUTER CV JOINT WITH 100 MM DIAMETER AND INNER CV JOINT WITH 108 MM DIAMETER .

-- Install the rear final drive. Refer to OVERVIEW - FINAL DRIVE for Rear Final Drive 0BC, 0BD, 0BE and 0BF, or OVERVIEW - REAR FINAL DRIVE for Rear Final Drive 0BF and 0BE - Sport Differential.

-- Install the rear muffler with brackets. Refer to EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS for engine code CALA, EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS for engine codes CAED, CAEB, CPMB, CPMA, or EXHAUST PIPES/MUFFLERS for engines CCBA, CGXC, CTUB .

-- Install the fuel tank mounting strap. Refer to OVERVIEW - FUEL TANK .

-- Install the coil spring. Refer to SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor --. Refer to RIGHT/LEFT REAR ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSOR -G44- / -G46-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Tighten the wheel. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Tighten the drive axle to wheel hub threaded connection. Refer to DRIVE AXLE THREADED CONNECTION, LOOSENING AND TIGHTENING .
