Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

-- Connect the connector -2- to the control module.

-- Slide the retainer on the connector back and lock it.

-- Insert the control module.

-- Install the nuts and tighten to 9 Nm.

Install the trailer towing control module and bracket, if applicable. Bracket: 3 Nm.

-- If the electronic parking brake control module is replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
