High-mount brake lamp - Avant, removing and installing

Removing

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:
  • In case of defective LEDs, the complete high-mount brake light must be replaced.
  • Attach spring clamps - 4  - at housing - 3  - of high-mount brake light so that flat portion - arrow A  - aligns at housing with flat portion - arrow B  -.
  • Make sure clips of spring clamps are inserted behind guides at housing.
  • Attach retaining track at housing and engage it up to 1st stage.
  • Bar - 1  - of retaining track must align with cut-out - 2  - at lamp housing.
  • Connect electrical harness connector and insert high-mount brake light into lid cut-out until it engages audibly.
