Balance Spring, Disengaging And Engaging

Disengaging

-- Disengage the left and right springs -A- first from the guide bolts -B- with pliers.

-- Pull the springs -A- then out of the brake pads -C-.

Engaging

-- First install the left and right springs -A- into the lower hole in each brake pad -C-.

-- Then engage them into the left and right guide pins -B- with pliers.

CAUTION:

Make sure the springs are installed correctly to the guide bolts and brake pads -arrows-.
