Rear Three-Point Seat Belt, Removing And Installing, Center Rear Three-Point Seat Belt, Folding Rear Seat Backrest: Removing
-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the right 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST .
-- Remove the cover with the padding:
- Refer to BACKREST COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, DIVIDED REAR SEAT BACKREST WITH PASS-THROUGH .
- Refer to COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, REAR SEAT BACKREST WITH REAR SEAT BACKREST FRAME OR STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
Versions with Rear Seat Belt Tensioner Igniter:

- Follow all regulations when disposing of pyrotechnic components. Refer to AIRBAG, BELT TENSIONER AND BATTERY CUT-OUT UNITS, STORING, TRANSPORTING AND DISPOSING .
- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
-- Disconnect the connector -4-.
-- To do this, release the connector lock -3- using a small screwdriver -1- and remove the electrical connector -2-.
Continuation for all vehicles:
-- Remove the nut -1-.
-- Disengage the three-point seat belt -2- and remove it.
-- Guide out the seat belt -3-.
