Rear Seat Belt Guide, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Removing

CAUTION:
  • Do not rotate bolts -3- under any circumstances when removing and installing belt guide -1-. They are set by the manufacturer.
  • Replace the entire belt guide if damaged.

-- Remove the side cushion. Refer to SIDE CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Versions with rear side airbag: remove the rear side airbag. Refer to REAR SIDE AIRBAG WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- For vehicles with a fixed rear seat backrest: remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FIXED REAR SEAT BACKREST .

-- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to REAR SHELF, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the foam piece under the belt guide.

-- Push the belt guide retaining hook -4- upward and hold it there.

-- Slide the belt guide -1- back -arrow A- until the bolt heads -3- can be disengaged from the console on the body.

-- Slightly lift the C-pillar trim -item 2- and remove the belt guide sideways toward the vehicle interior -arrow B-.

-- Rear outer right seat belt guide: Disconnect the connector from the Rear Parking Aid Warning Buzzer -H15-.
