Overview - Cylinder Block, Transmission Side

For Assembly Work, Secure The Engine On The Engine And Transmission Holder :VAS6095A . Refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .

Bolt
- 60 Nm + 90° turn
- Always replace
Drive Plate
- With the bearing flange
- Check the running surfaces on the bearing flange and the dual mass flywheel holes for cracks and signs of wear.
- Removing and installing. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Sensor Wheel
- For Engine Speed Sensor -G28-
- Removing and installing. Refer to SENSOR WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Checking. Refer to SENSOR WHEEL, CHECKING .
Shaft Seal
- Always replace. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .
- For the crankshaft on the transmission side

Alignment Pin
- If a new engine or a new crankshaft is installed, install a new alignment pin.
