Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-, FUNCTION

Function Mode
- The bracket -4- for the Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- -1- and for the Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- -2- is connected with the body via the clip nuts -6- to reduce noise.
- The Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- and the Coolant Recirculation Pump -V50- are directly connected to the bracket
- The Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- is activated via the A/C system controls only at certain settings (for example, when "OFF" is selected or when maximum cooling is required). The engine speed must be lower than 5, 000 RPM and the coolant temperature must be lower than 95 °C (203 °F).
- Shutting off the coolant circuit to the A/C heat exchanger accelerates the engine warming up when the coolant is cold.
- The Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82- is open without activation. To be able to check the electrical function of the valve, activation occurs at certain intervals (for example, brief activation lasting approximately 1 second at every twentieth engine start).
