Receiver/Dryer, Removing And Installing At Condenser (Not For AUDI A6 E-Tron): Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following: 

-- Replace the O-rings. Refer to the Parts information for the version.

-- Clean the condenser surface -C-.

-- Check the connections on the condenser and on the receiver/dryer for damage.

-- Insert the O-ring seals -D and E- into the grooves -arrows- on the respective connection.

NOTE:

Coat the O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil prior to installation. Refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT SEALS .

Check the refrigerant pipes leading to the evaporator for contamination and damage.

Check O-ring seals for proper seating in groove -arrow- on the respective connections.

-- Mount the receiver/dryer -B- on the condenser and tighten the bolts.
