Dryer Bag/Dryer Cartridge, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to appropriate service information. .
-- On vehicles without a charge air cooler, remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to FRONT BUMPER .
-- Remove the charge air cooler. Refer to CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [For engine(s) CREC, CREH] or CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [For engine(s) CTGE, CEUC] .
-- Check the pressure in the refrigerant circuit using a A/C service station pressure gauge. .
WARNING:
Danger due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.
Danger of frost bite to skin and other parts of the body.
- Only remove the sealing plug when the pressure in the refrigerant circuit is the same or smaller than the ambient pressure.
-- Remove the sealing plug -A-.
-- Remove the dryer cartridge -D- from the receiver/dryer -E- using the needle nose pliers.
