Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

NOTE:

If the foam seal is damaged or not correctly positioned with respect to the glove compartment, noise can occur at the connection point.

If the air duct hose is not correctly slid onto the A/C unit, noise can occur at the connection point.

-- Replace a damaged or defective foam seal -3-.

-- The air duct hose -1- can only be slid onto the connection -2- in one position -arrow- until stop.

-- The air duct must be pressed on until it audibly engages.

-- If the air duct hose -D- is loose on the connection -B-, secure it with a hose clamp -C-. Hose clamps. Refer to the Parts information.

-- Install the footwell vent on the front passenger side. Refer to FRONT PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
