- Articulated Joint Support : VAS6131/13-7 from the Scissor Lift Table - Q7 Set :VAS6131/13
- Scissor Lift Table - Gearbox Support :VAS6131/14
- Bolt :3367/3 from Press Tool For Viscous Fan :3367
- Engine Support :T10014
- Crankshaft Turning Tool :T40257
- Wrench - 21mm :T40263
- Adapter :T40314
Preparing the :VAS6131/13-7 :
- :3367/3 from :3367
- M10 nut
- :T10014
- :VAS6131/13-7
- Engine/transmission assembly removed and placed on the :VAS6131B .
-- Disconnect the -1- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448- -2- connector.
Ignore item -3-.
-- Remove the connector -2- for the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448- -1- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.
-- Remove the connector -2- for the Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- -1- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.
-- Loosen the clamp -1-, remove the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- and with the coolant hoses -2- still connected push to the side.
-- Remove the connection for the Catalytic Converter Heater 1 -Z119- /Catalytic Converter Heater 2 -Z120- with the :T40317 and if necessary move it to the side.
-- Remove the connector -3- from the mount, disconnect, and free up the wires.
-- Disconnect the connector -2- and unclip the Differential Pressure Sensor -G505- from the bracket and free it up.
Ignore item -1-.
-- Remove the bolt -3-.
Ignore items -1 and 2-.
-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and then remove the heat shield -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Remove the particulate filter with the front exhaust pipe
-- Remove the left and right drive axles from the transmission flange shaft. Refer to DRIVE AXLE .
-- Disconnect the connector -2- from the transmission fluid pump -1-.
Ignore the -arrows-.
There is a risk of destroying the transmission control module (Mechatronic) with static discharge.
- Always "discharge" the static electricity. Do this by touching a grounded object, for example vehicle ground, the vehicle or the hoist.
- Do not touch contacts in transmission connector with hands.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- to do so push the locking mechanism -arrow B- and pull the locking bracket -2- in direction of -arrow A-.
-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the lower cover -1- from the transmission in direction of -arrow-.
-- Join the tools as illustrated.
- Socket 21 mm for 1 /2 "-drive
-- Counterhold the crankshaft to loosen the dual mass flywheel bolts.
When mounting, turn the crankshaft only in the direction of engine rotation -arrow-.
-- Remove the 6 bolts -arrow- from the dual mass flywheel. Turn the crankshaft an additional 60° in the direction of engine rotation.
-- Equip the :VAS6131B with the :VAS6131/10 , :VAS6131/13-7 , and :VAS6131/14 as follows:
The other attachments remain unchanged.

-- Secure the :VAS6131/13-7 to the engine on the front to the right with the M10 nut -arrow-, as shown in the illustration.
-- Install the joint support on the : VAS6131B and tighten it to 20 Nm.
Danger of leaks in the ATF oil pan.
- The :VAS6131/14 must not be set on the ATF oil pan.
-- Attach the mounting elements from the :VAS6131/10 and :VAS6131/14 on the front of the transmission, as shown in illustration.
-- Turn the left and right spindles upward until the :VAS6131/14 rests firmly against the transmission.
-- Attach mounting element base plates to : VAS6131B and tighten to 20 Nm.
-- Remove the starter bolts -1 and 2-.
-- Press the starter off the transmission and leave it in the installation position.
-- Remove the remaining bolts -3 through 11- that attach the engine to the transmission.
Ignore item -A-.
-- Loosen the side bolts -1- on the :VAS6131B land the pull the rear table plate and transmission slightly toward the rear.
