Right Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The engine mount and engine mount actuator make up one unit.

CAUTION:

Danger of causing damage to electronic components.

  • Complete the steps for disconnecting the battery.

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery terminal. Refer to BATTERY .

-- Support the engine in the installation position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN INSTALLED POSITION .

-- Remove the right front wheel. Refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .

-- Remove the front left and right wheel housing liners. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the left and right front wheel spoiler. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the oil filter element.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and lower the stabilizer bar.

-- Remove the nut -2- and push the ground wire aside.

NOTE:

Ignore item -1 and arrows-.

-- Free up the wire from the right engine support.

-- Remove the connector -arrow- from the mount, disconnect it, and then guide it through the subframe.
