Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Quickly open the coolant reservoir cap -arrow- and release any remaining pressure in the cooling system and then close it again until it locks.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

NOTE:

Use a cloth to catch any leaking coolant.

-- Remove the retaining clip -1- and the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.
