Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing, AUDI A7: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the bumper cover end plate. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles without Torque Support

-- Push the retainer back in direction of -arrow-, press the release down and disconnect the coolant fan connectors -1 and 2-, if applicable.

Vehicles with Torque Support

-- Disconnect the coolant fan connectors -1 and 2- to do this, push the clamp to the rear in direction of -arrow- and push the release down.

-- Remove the bolt -3- from the mount.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and air guide -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the air guide -1-.

-- Release the retaining tabs in direction of -arrows A- and tilt the left and right air ducts -1- toward the center of the vehicle in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Lift the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the connection from the radiator.

-- Release the left and right radiator retaining pins and remove by pulling upward in direction of -arrows-.

-- Move the radiator slightly forward.

-- Press the fan shroud left and right locking tabs at the same time in direction of -arrow- and remove the fan shroud upward from the radiator.
