-- Remove the Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-. Refer to Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the oil cooler. Refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, FRONT .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and then remove the coolant connection.

Audi S7

-- Open the clamps -1 and 2- and remove the coolant hoses.

Audi RS6/RS7

-- Remove the Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-. Refer to Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat -F265-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the radiator, with the fan shroud. Refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI RS6/RS7 .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the coolant connection.

-- Remove the bolts -4, 6, and 7-.

-- Remove the housing -2- for the coolant pump from the coolant pump -3- in direction of -arrow- with a screwdriver -1-.

-- Carefully remove the housing while paying attention to the intermediate pipe -5-.

NOTE:

Ignore item -2-.

-- Remove the coolant pump -1- forward while paying attention to the coolant pump input shaft.
