Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, Removing And Installing: Procedure

-- If installed, remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- To reduce the residual pressure in the cooling system, briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -1- by releasing the retainer in direction of -arrow- if necessary.

TIP: 

Different Versions Depending On Models And Version.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.

-- Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

-- Remove the bolts -arrow- and remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- -3-.

-- To prevent coolant loss, install the new coolant temperature sensor immediately.

-- Check the Coolant Level. Refer to COOLANT LEVEL, CHECKING .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
