Exhaust Pipes/Mufflers, Separating: Procedure

-- Audi A7: remove the left and right bolts and remove the diagonal braces -1 and 2-.
-- Separate the exhaust pipes at a right angle at the separating points -arrow- using a :VAS6254 .
-- When installing, position the clamping sleeves -arrows- on the center of the separating point
-- Install double clamps so that the bolt ends do not project over lower edge of double clamp.
- Installed position: the threaded connectors face forward.
-- Install the exhaust system free of tension. Refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .
