Tightening Specifications: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. At the same time pay attention to the following:

-- Lightly coat the ATF supports with ATF.

-- Insert the ATF line -1- all the way on the ATF supports until the catches are released.

-- In this position push down the quick-release coupling clip.

-- Loosen all three bolts -arrows-, but do not remove.

CAUTION:

The ATF cooler can be damaged my ATF lines installed under stress.

  • By loosening the bolts tension is created in the ATF lines.

-- Re-tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.

-- Check the ATF level. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID (ATF) LEVEL, CHECKING .
