Pinpoint Test S : DTC U1000:00

  1. S1 REVIEW THE HCM DTCs

    • Review the DTCs from the HCM self-test.

    Are any other DTCs present besides U1000:00? 

    Yes  CORRECT the HCM DTCs. REFER to HCM DTC Chart 
    No  GO to  S2

  2. S2 REPEAT THE HCM SELF-TEST

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the DTCs.
    • Wait 10 seconds.
    • Repeat the HCM self-test.

    Is DTC U1000:00 still present? 

    Yes  INSTALL a new HCM. REFER to Headlamp Control Module (HCM) .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired. CLEAR the DTC.
