Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Drain the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Vehicles with torque support: remove the torque support, refer to TORQUE SUPPORT AND CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the vibration damper, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- and unclip the change-over valve from the bracket.
-- Disconnect the connector -2-.
-- Remove the bolt -3-.
-- Remove the exhaust gas recirculation, refer to EGR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the ribbed belt tensioner, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the front coolant pipe, refer to FRONT COOLANT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the oil filter element, refer to ENGINE OIL, DRAINING/EXTRACTING; OIL FILTER, REPLACING .
-- Remove the bolt -1- and the oil dipstick tube.
Ignore items -2 and 3-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- for the coolant pump ribbed belt pulley using a Wrench - Pin Type 3212 to counterhold.
-- Remove the bolts and remove the ribbed belt pulley.
-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Oil Temperature Sensor 2 -G664-.
Ignore item -2-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 4-.
-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.
-- Loosen the clamp -1- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Remove the cover -1-.
-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the idler roller.
-- Remove the bolts in the following sequence: -23 to 2-.
-- Remove the engine oil cooler thermostat, refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect and remove the upper coolant hose -arrow- from the belt pulley side sealing flange.
-- Remove the crankshaft seal on the removed sealing flange.
