Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, Hybrid Vehicles With Engine Code CHJA: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Secure the generator and Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor before installing the ribbed belt.

-- Position the ribbed belt as illustrated.

-- Turn the tensioning system in direction of -arrow- and remove Locking Pin T10060A.

-- Release the tensioner.

-- Check whether ribbed belt is routed correctly.

-- Start engine and check whether ribbed belt runs correctly.
