Auxiliary Components Bracket, Removing And Installing, Hybrid Vehicles: Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Replace any bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.
Replace the O-rings and seals.
The hose connections as well as the air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.
Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory .
In order to be able to securely mount the air guide hoses on their connectors, spray the screws on the previously used clamps with a rust remover.
-- Coat the O-rings -4- with coolant additive. For the correct coolant .
-- Install the connection -2- into the coolant pump housing -3-.
-- Slide the auxiliary components bracket -1- onto the connection and then install and tighten the bolts, refer to Figure.
Refrigerant can cause serious personal injury.
- Do not open the A/C system refrigerant circuit.
Risk of damaging refrigerant lines and hoses.
- Do not stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.
-- Install oil dipstick guide tube, refer to OVERVIEW - TIMING CHAIN COVER .
-- Install front coolant pipe, refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PIPES, NON-HYBRID VEHICLES .
-- Install the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-, refer to After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, HYBRID VEHICLES .
-- Install the Electrical A/C Compressor -V470-, A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET, ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN A/C COMPRESSOR , or A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET, MECHANICALLY-DRIVEN A/C COMPRESSOR for hybrid .
-- Install the oil filter, refer to 4-CYLINDER 2.0 TFSI GASOLINE ENGINE .
-- Connect the coolant hoses with the connector coupling, refer to Fig 2.
-- Install the air guide hose, refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR SYSTEM .
Do not reuse used coolant.
-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING, HYBRID VEHICLES => Filling .
-- Check the oil level, refer to ENGINE OIL LEVEL, FILLING AND CHECKING .
-- Install the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Energizing the high voltage system
Hazardous high voltage
Severe bodily injury or death by electrocution
- The high voltage system may only be restarted by a qualified person (Audi high voltage technician).
- Use only the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding " to ensure the system has been re-energized.
- Qualified personnel (Audi high voltage technician) restart the vehicle.
- The qualified personnel (Audi high voltage technicians) mark the vehicle with a label.
Energizing the high voltage system:
Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
Select the Guided Fault Finding mode
