Inspection [08/2013 - ]

  1. INSPECT OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 3 Front passenger seat occupied Below 100 Ω
      1 - 3 Front passenger seat not occupied 1 MΩ or higher
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Occupant Detection Sensor (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Pad))

      If the result is not as specified, replace the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad).
