CAUTION:

Follow steps required when disconnecting battery →

On vehicles equipped with a telematics system, activate the telematics control module service mode before disconnecting the battery. →

NOTE:

Lubricate all bearings and contact surfaces with polycarbamide grease G052142A2 .
Before working on pedal cluster, remove storage compartment on drivers side →

Make sure brake fluid does not leak into footwell, plenum chamber or onto transmission below. If it does, area affected must be thoroughly cleaned.
When working in footwell, use cloths to protect floor covering against brake fluid spillage.
