Gear shift and rear push rod, removing and installing: Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
- Adjusting shift mechanism. Refer to Shift mechanism, adjusting .
- Position gear shift knob together with gear shift cover on gear shift and turn connection piece -1- in direction of arrow as far as it will go.
Tightening torques

| Selector rod to selector fork/gear shift | 25 Nm | |
| Front push rod to rear push rod | 25 Nm | |
| Gear shift housing to body | 10 Nm | |
| Cover to rear push rod | 10 Nm | |
