Hood Latch, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANELS

-- Unlock the clip -1- and remove the rear lid anti-theft protection -5-. Carefully lift the tab -2- in direction of -arrow- and unlock the clip -3- through the opening -4-.

-- Remove the anti-theft protection.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-, remove the nuts -2 and 3- and remove the rear lid lock.

-- Remove the cable bracket -6- from the rear lid lock mount -5-.

-- Disengage the cable from the actuator lever -4-.
