Gas-Filled Strut, Releasing Gas

The gas inside the gas-filled strut must be removed before disposing.

Only clamp in this area.
Wear protective eyewear when sawing.

NOTE:

To collect escaping oil, cover the cut area with a cleaning cloth.

-- Cut through the gas-filled strut cylinder within the first third of the overall cylinder length using the piston rod end of the cylinder as a reference point.
