Sill-Side Trim, Removing And Installing, Manual Standard/Sport Seats: Removing

-- Move the seat as high up as possible.

-- Remove the backrest adjustment wheel. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat height adjustment handle. Refer to SEAT HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL STANDARD SEAT/SPORT SEAT .

-- Remove the expanding rivet -2- for the sill-side trim -1-.

-- Open the clips -4- (quantity: 2).

-- Unclip the trim -1- on the retaining bracket -3-.

-- Disengage the trim near the backrest adjustment wheel on the backrest and seat hinge.

-- Remove the trim forward and up from the retaining bracket -3-.

NOTE:

Make sure the bracket -5- and the tab -2- are not damaged when removing the trim.

-- Vehicles with four-way lumbar support: disconnect the connector -4- on the lumbar support adjustment switch -1-.

Ignore -item 2-.

-- Vehicles with neck heating: disconnect the connector on the cabin heater switch.

-- Remove the sill-side trim -3-.
