Memory Seat/Steering Column Adjustment Control Module, Removing And Installing: Removing

Follow all safety precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove The Front Seat:

Standard and Power Sport Seat, Comfort Seat and Super Sport Seat. Refer to POWER FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Attach the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Disconnect the connectors -2 through 5- on the control module -1-.

NOTE:

The Number Of Connectors May Vary Depending On The Vehicle Equipment. The Description Shows The Version With The Maximum Equipment Level.

-- Unclip the tabs -arrows- using the :3409 .

-- Carefully tilt the control module -1- in the direction of -arrow A- out of the retainers -2-.

-- Move the control module in the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Disengage the control module hooks -arrow- from the bracket.

-- Remove the control module from the bracket.
