Headrest Guide, Removing And Installing, Super-Sport Seat: Removing

Before handling the airbag units (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to POWER FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Attach the front seat to the :VAS6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the backrest cover. Refer to BACKREST COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TWO PIECE .

-- Remove the backrest cover and cushion/head restraint. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPER SPORT SEAT .

-- Press the locking tabs -arrows- on the headrest guide toward the center of the headrest guide.

-- Hold the locking tabs down.

-- Pull the headrest guide upward out of the backrest frame -2-.
