Entry Assistance Connecting Cable, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the entry assistance cover. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, MANUAL .

-- Tilt the bracket -2- up until it stops and hold it in that position.

-- Disengage the connecting cable -1- on the bracket.

-- Push the handle -1- forward until it stops.

-- Disengage the connecting cable -2- on the handle.

-- Remove the connecting cable.
