Backrest Release Cable, Adjusting, Standard Seat, Sport Seat, Super Sport Seat

WARNING:

Make Sure The Backrest Is Locked (Neutral Position), Otherwise It Could Tip Forward Accidentally.

The Following Conditions Must Be Met To Adjust:

The backrest cover must be removed.
The cushion must be removed from the backrest.

NOTE:

The Pins (Release Pins) -2- On Both Sides Must Be Locked (Delivery Position, Meaning Basic Position).

-- Tilt the bracket -1- upward enough so there is a distance -a- = 2 to 4 mm between the backrest frame stop surface -arrow A- and the bracket stop ridge -arrow B-.

-- Hold the bracket -1- in this position.

NOTE:

For Clarity, The Illustration Does Not Show The Side Cable Adjuster.

-- Adjust the release cables -1- and -2- on both cable adjusters -arrows-.

-- To adjust, rotate the upper section -arrow B- and lower section -arrow A- in opposite directions.

-- Adjust the release cables so they are free of play and tension.

NOTE:

The Illustration Only Shows One Side Of The Locking Mechanism.

When Adjusting The Release Cables -1-, They Must Not Be Tensioned On The Release Pins -2-.
