Backrest Heating Element, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Align the new rear seat backrest heating element -2- on the cushion.

CAUTION:
  • Make sure the new rear seat backrest heating element is attached in the same position as the old heating element.
  • Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
  • When removing the protective films, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

-- Route the connecting lines to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps -arrow- without crossing.

-- Pull the wire -3- through the slit in the cushion -1-.

Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
