Driver/Front Passenger Backrest Heating Element -Z7- / -Z9-, Removing And Installing, Standard Seat/Sport Seat: Installing

-- Align the new backrest heating element on the cushion.
CAUTION:
- Make sure the new backrest heating element is affixed to the old heating element.
- Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
- When removing the protective films, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.
-- Bond the backrest heating element -2- in sequence -A, B and C-.
-- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps -arrow-.
-- Pull the wire -3- through the slit in the cushion -1-.
Further installation is the reverse order of removal.
