Driver And Front Passenger Backrest Heating Element -Z7- And -Z9-, Removing And Installing, Comfort Seat: Removing

-- Remove the cover with the cushion. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD/SPORT SEAT .

-- Separate the cover from the cushion. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND CUSHION, SEPARATING, STANDARD SEAT/SPORT SEAT .

-- Cut the wire -1- off directly at the old lower backrest heating element -2-.

-- Cut through the connecting bars and wires -arrows-.

-- Carefully loosen the bonding of the top and bottom of the backrest heating element -C and D- and remove.

NOTE:

The spacer fabric must not be damaged.

The heating elements -A and B- remain on the backrest bolsters and the new backrest heating element is bonded over them.
